92mm to 60mm Fan adapter and MC462

I was just messin around at www.plycon.com and noticed that they have some 92mm to 60mm fan adapters the will let a person mount a 92mm fan on a HS that was designed for a 60mm. They look like they are pretty good quality. If I got a 110CFM 92mm fan and one of these, what do you suppose I could expect from an MC462? Would the glaciator be a better choice? It sounds like this would just be an awesome combo, but maybe some of you have more info....

The MC462 is made for an 80mm fan, not a 60mm fan. You would need a 92-80mm adapter in order for it to mount correctly.

If you buy all that stuff you will be spending close to or over 100.00, for the few extra degrees I don't think it's worth it, not too mention what everyone else in here has said.

The Swiftech MC 462 is setup for a 80mm fan. I have a 92mm Panaflo ultra fan on mine, 68.8 cfm. You just turn the fan 90 degrees and use a 80mm fan grill to hold it to the heatsink. You wull need to get four #6 screws that are 2.5 inches long to do this mod. You do not need to buy an adaptor.

Ahh, thanks. I thought the 462 was just like all the others.... I will definately get the 462 and a good 92mm fan. Thanks.
