92mm fan on an slk-800a

I have an slk-800a right now and I want to put a panaflo 92mm L1a on top of it, but I'm not sure if 92mm fans fit on the 800. If they don't, does anyone know of a way to get this fan on it?
 
It won't fit with the standard clips. I am also not sure how the frame of the fan will settle on the heatsink, since the heatsink was only made for use with 80mm fans. You could decouple it like this (the tutorial is in German, use babelfish to get a rough translation). He uses Verax rubber slics for it; I don't know if you can get them in the US.
