92 mm fan on WBK

For anyone that's interested, i placed my 92mm fan on top of my WBK and i'm very happy. originally i tried it w/ the 80mm worked fine, but today i noticed something, the motor or center part of the fan (the dead zone) is larger on my 80mm than it is on my 92mm.

so i'm probably getting more air over my hs than i was before. plus i'm gettin pretty good results. i'll post more later.

You should try off center the fan. Like purposely set the fan hub from the center and let the fan over hang more to one side, like to the side where your MB chipset would be.
Or you could raise the fan from the heatsink which would allow it to spread out more, giving more coverage.
Or you could raise the fan on one side, so the fan sits on the heatsink at an angle, which would cover the dead spot. Couple HS units in japan use this design.
