92.3 k-rock?

tami

Lifer
i don't listen to the talking much, but i heard twice today upon flipping the channels in my car that today was the last of 92-3 krock as it is... and tomorrow there will be a "new" 92.3 krock.

question is: is this the "talk show" everyone was talking about, or is this more music and less chatter?

what exactly are they changing?

their website didn't help me too much in finding this information. 🙁

IIRC they're going to an all-talk format.

Damn, and I haven't listened to Stern in years, live across the country, and still happen to know this😛

Stern is making his grand exit. I use to listen to him, but I wont go to his silly little rally unless he has a really good sideshow planned. I have no idea what is going to happen with his radio slot.

ok, but besides that, stern is not on k-rock as far as i know so.... someone tell me, where am i going to get my music?! 😛

is 92.3 REALLY going all-talk?

Stern is still on K-Rock until 10 a.m. tomorrow. I believe the station goes all-talk as of the start of his show tomorrow morning (though I think David Lee Roth will be playing at least some music).

I'm pissed the Booker show is moving to 7. I always used to listen to it in between classes at 2. Especially on Tues and Wed from 3-5.

Q104.3 recently sold out & has drifted from its all classic format. They now play basically everything from GreenDay to Pearl Jam, Living Colour, plus all the regular Rolling Stones, Aerosmith, Dylan, Moody Blues that they use to stick to. This is basically the same format that K-Rock was on since they're last switch.

Can you verify that? I'm a regular Q listener and have not noticed a change.

I think you may be confusing Q1043 with 101.1's new format.

I have an uncle that listens from the time he wakes up to when he goes to bed. Maybe the format just trickles in other music, but he did mention those three bands.

all talk shows should move to AM.

their website says that howard stern is currently "on air." still nothing about their changes. i'd have expected an announcement.

well if you really think about it, green day and PJ have been around for at least 10 years...making them sorta classic rock 😉
