Nice car, I bet ill never see one on the road around here.

Only 25 ever made so you probably won't see one!

It is a GT car for racing. It will have mad things on it like so to improve it's racing abilities.

It does look like a riced out Porsche...

And considering a miata is probably faster and easier to drive in most everyday situations.

If you knew ANYTHING about that car you wouldn't have made that comment. Some cars actually do need to be slammed to the ground, have huge wings, hood scoops, and roof scoops for aerodynamic and performance reasons. This is one of them. Have you ever seen a race car before? They don't just throw giant spoilers on them for no reason...

Yeah they do.....on the race track.

I'm sure Porsche engineers spent quite a bit of time designing the car for sufficient downforce for the purposes it was designed to be used for. Surely you don't think that whoever did that to their car did a single calculation as to its effect on the aerodynamic properties of the car? There are performance improvements in an after market or custom spolier, but you can usually tell when the point of a modification is performance or looks.

BTW, I'd love to own that car..and drive it too. Maybe get two, one to look at and one to drive...hehe...

and NO, I do not consider it "rice" at all. To me, the GT1 is a pure performance car.

The reason Porsche made 25 of them is because rules in a certain racing league (forgot which) stipulated that the car must be in production (25 cars or more).

I think it is the GT1 racing series so hence the name of it also. You have to build a set number for production and sell it so thus you can enter the car in to the league with the restrictions on that league.

You think it looks RICED OUT?????? LOL

Its a GT race car not a 1991 civic!!! There is a purpose to its design unlike all the riced out cars with 2 ft spoilers and endless stickers.

Fine, fine, laugh at me...but that car is like having a woman with four boobs....its great if you're feeding four babys at the same time...but its so impractical for most occasions.

I think the racing series you're thinking of is Le Mans. Racing regulations require production version of all GT and GTS class racers. The GT1 would be competing (if it were in the series now) with the likes of the Saleen S7, Corvette C5R, Viper ACR, and Maranello 550 GTS.
