I just watched the footage I found here
Very very tragic. May he RIP.
This clip ends right after his signal is lost. There has to be more from the 911 operator. She couldn't have just ended the call like that. Does anyone know if there is longer sound bite with her reaction?
So know one knows if there is any more to the recording?
There has to be more from the operator. The call was dropped from the phone yes, but not from her end.
All the 911 centers I've been in (3) have had "call active" lights. Call drops on either end, light goes out. And the recording gear stops to conserve tape/disk space/whatever
