I left my water cooler off(forgot), and turned off the auto shutdown
I clocked my 3500+ up to 2.4ghz stock voltage and proceded to go play SWG.
Anyways After 20 minutes of playing I was going to up it to 2.6
When i went back my temperatures it was 74C!.
looking at the temperature graph it Went 60C at 4 minutes. gradualy went to 66C in 7 minutes and hit 74 at 14 minutes And stayed between 74 and 72 for the remainder.
With this performance who need expensive heat sinks 😛


PS do you think i damaged it?
 
you sounds like you got lucky! I dunno if you have to redo the thermal goop on your cpu - depends what type you used in the first place.
