900u Monitor Noise

I haven't noticed until today how load the electron gun is on my Mitsubishi 900u. I usually have my music on so maybe I didn't catch the noise before. Can anyone else who has this monitor validate the loudness of the noise? When I am in front of my monitor, its difficult to hear it but its still slightly audible.
 
It could be that your resolution is set too high and the monitor is stretched to its limits. Try lowering your resolution and see if the noise goes away. Another thing, it could also just be dirt build up in the monitor. Open it up and vacuum it. Or it could just be heat.
