900mhz phone under $30

Is there such thing as a decent 900mhz cordless phone that costs $30 or less. I have had several in the past and they only lasted for a few month and they never worked very well. Now I have an expensive 2.4GHz Panasonic cordless phone which works well except that it interfers with the wireless internet. My brother of course gets pissed when my sister or other brother mindlessly picks up the phone while he is playing Warcraft thus disconnecting him and causing a loss (which goes on your record). I am just going to give up trying to tell them not to use the phone and just going to buy a cheap 900mhz. So is there such a thing as a cheap 900mhz phone that works half way decent? Any suggestions?

radio shaq...just buy like 2 of 'em ...they're like what....20-30 bucks? last time i chked they were 20 bucks...just buy three of 'em to cover every part of the house..no need to just use one phone...

I would recommend Panasonic or Uniden.

For instance at Staples.com you can buy a Uniden for $39.99 or $59.99 with digital answering machine.

Thanks for the heads up Ross but too bad there are no Staples B&M stores around here. I never did buy a cheap Panasonic phone but the two I have had, which cost $150 (29mhz) and $240 (2.4Ghz, which I bought for a lot less as a refurb) both worked very well. I always wondered if Panasonic just works well or maybe it was that I paid a lot for the phones that did the trick. If I can find a cheap Panasonic at a B&M store around here, I will buy one. The cheap phones I have bought were GE, no name and Sony and they all worked terribly.

You get what you pay for. Panasonic and Uniden 900MHz cordless phones usually garner high ratings and reviews.

Try your local CostCo B&M, we were there last weekend and I always check up on electronics while I'm there. I saw 3 under $50 900MHz cordless phones, I think there was a $39 Uniden with DSS (Digital Spread Spectum) and included an extra FREE handset. So you get the base, and two handsets for $39 with no rebate hassles. They also have a great selection of Panasonic cordless phones.
