9000 pro Anti Aliasing problem.

How come when ever i enable Anti aliasing, some game's text appears real fuzzy, when it used to be real clear? It makes some games text fuzzy and some not. Can someone please help me find a solution?
 
I believe this occurs with BF1942 and Half-life (at lest those are the two I know of). I don't think there is any solution for it though.
 
bump, anyone know of a solution to this?

i'm using a radeon 9700tx

in bf1942 i can barely read player's names (the ones that label their game character) and reading the console is absolutely impossible.

is CS whenever my crosshair goes over someone i see a bunch of jarbled text and then an exclamation point stays on my screen for a few seconds. so annoying.

and for both games, this crap only happens for certain types of text. other types are just fine.
