We've been through this drill at CompUSSR many times before:

30-pack Fuji CD-R $10.99 - $3 IR - $6 MIR = $1.99

Limit 3 per customer, starts Sunday, October 26. My gut feeling is that these are still TY discs. Check for "Made in Japan" label, of course.

Seeing as how the picture of the product shows made in taiwan discs, my gut feeling would be that you would be lucky to find a pack of TY's

During the last 3x30-pk promo, my Taiyo Yudens came in a spindle that looked exactly like the one in the picture. But it's a matter of inventory whether or not your B&M store is stocking the same type.

Hehe, I think I've burned less than 10-15 discs since I sold those to you. :p I'm glad you could use them.

Oh uh, bump for the Hot Deal.

Actually, we've had some problems with the last batch of Fuji 48x TY disks we bought on a CompUSA deal. My wifes 48x HiVal has been making coasters out of them and Norton Ghost wouldn't burn a backup disk set on them. I had to switch to TDK 32x TY disks to complete the Ghost backup. I'll have to try some of my wife's 48x TY on my LiteOn 52x tonight so I'll know whether I want to try and find TY at CompUSA tomorrow.

Made in Japan or Made by TY does NOT mean it's better than others.

i just did this. i got lucky with TY's.

anyhow, i have a question about the rebate. I just have 1 receipt for 3. it's 3 per household. when i log onto www.myrewards.info and fill out the form. I just put $6 for rebate amount and quantity of 3 and FUJI rewards will know that I get back $18??? and I just submit 1 receipt for all 3???

I did the chat thing with one of the reps on myrewards.info and this is what she answered:

Jodi: When you register online you can enter them together. Rebate amount $6 and amount purchased 3. You will get one page to print that has 3 bar codes. Mail it with receipt and 3 UPCs.
Philip: Ok, so I only need to mail one envelope then?
Philip: including three upc's and a single receipt?
Jodi: Correct.

Thanks, time to fill out the rebate. There were a bunch left of TYs left at the one I went to (San Bruno, CA).
