Man that sucks. It's already too cold for outdoor activities in tee shirts. Too short of a warm season.

Normally this is August for us, but we got some pretty hot days in August too. The issue is when this weather comes, so does the rain. If it did not rain it would not be so bad. It's not as bad this year as other years though... had lot of cool days where it was also not raining. Finally got my deck done. Once you start moving it's perfect for shorts and tshirt. I have lot of other stuff to do like finish cutting up some logs from one of my trees, and I want to retilt my solar panels. Just been too hot all summer to do any of that.

Yeah I don't think I would ever get used to that. Maybe get used to the heat part to some degree, but the constant sweating is just so miserable and that's the part that makes it worse really. Probably sunburn near instantly too, and covering up more just makes the sweating part works, can't win either way.
I wouldn't worry about sweating, you'll be dry like a vagina on menopause in the desert heat.

@Red Squirrel
Yeah, big difference between 100F out west compared to 85F in the east with the humidity. Unless it's a lot drier up there in Timmins.
Here when it's 80-90F the humidity is nearly the same. What's the humidity for you guys out west, 10-15% max?

-edit
today was beautiful here, 70-72F & felt dry, even though the humidity was probably around 50%

Humidity is usually around 50% so not really high. Though it will shoot to 100% if it rains then gets hot again. While humidity does make it worse, it's the heat that's the real issue, since unless you are dehydrated, which is a whole issue on it's own, you will sweat a lot when it's super hot, and that's the part that makes it so uncomfortable since it makes your clothes all wet and sticky.

In my limited experience, a lot of that sweat evaporates off your skin so it's not dripping off you.

I've only been on vacation out west, not doing heavy work so i might be a little off.

Depends on your body and what yur wearing.
If you are fat and hairy and garbed in thick cotton, most of the sweat hugs your body for hours making you feel gross all day.

It's 110F outside right now with about 20% humidity. Will probably hit 115F+ later on.

Psh... Riots are gravy. Fire your shotgun all you want, and that stupid sun's still gonna blast you in the face, but see how quick that riot disperses ;^)

Beautiful day and evening in Northern NJ. 76 degrees right now around 30% humidity. Gonna be a gorgeous day for a 4 hour hike tomorrow as well.

You haven't lived until you've had to stand in the sun in 110F with 90%+ humidity and MOP4 gear waiting for someone to check off a bunch of boxes confirming you know how to put your pants on.

Sweat fills your boots man. Fills. Your. Boots.

Helped my parents build a shelf in their shed today, told them I'd do it but wanted to wait for cooler temps. Was like +10C with some drizzle. Still wearing shorts and tshirt lol. Other than the rain it was near perfect weather to work in. It's just too bad it rains so much when it's cooler out.

Finished the trim on my greenhouse today...then, took it all off to paint it. (Clear poly panels...couldn't paint it in place) It got into the 70's here...I perspired. 😛

It was warm-ish here today...upper 60's, maybe low 70's...then the wind came up and blew the marine layer in...temp dropped to about 60.
