90 degree flip of one monitor in a dual setup, possible?

Basically - about to get second monitor and wondering if it will be possible to use the 90 degree flip - on one monitor in the dual setup while leaving the second as it is.

I'm using ati 9800 pro at the moment.

Should be able to. You can do it with an nvidia card I know for sure.

talking about crt's by the way. I intend to lay the smaller monitor on its side (and use a 90 dgree flip)

I heard that's bad for a CRT, something about its magnetic poles.

Don't put CRT on its side unless you want to kill it pretty quick.

thanks. guess ill back off that idea. even though the crt in question is already kinda going down hill.
