90+ C small FFT with 4790k @ 4.6 and Corsair H100i

I noticed while playing the BO4 beta my CPU was reaching 66c but mostly hovering around 53 to 55. The game does seem to me maxing out my CPU but I thought that was kinda of high. Then I tried running cinebench and I was getting the same temps. However with prime95 small FFT I am getting 90+ C and with Large FFT I am getting 75+ C. Is running small FFT unrealistic for testing temps or should I look into replacing under warranty (again) my H100i?

The CPU throttles at 100 C and something like Prime95 (and other stress tests) will push the CPU much harder than any regular game will. Your CPU is overclocked, and that is why it is pushing so much heat. Do you have voltage locked? If not, it is probably going above stock to compensate, hence the higher temps. But honestly I don't see anything to "worry" about. Those are good temp for an overclocked 4790k.
