9 year old nephew wants a gameboy for Christmas

Get him the Super Mario Bros. 3 GBA game.
And make sure you get the SP. Don't cheap out and buy something without a backlight.
 
I don't see why not, only thing is it might be too expensive a gift? *shrug* depends on your wallet and how close you are to him.

it's gonna be from a few of us being it is more than we'd normally spend.

so what games besides Super Mario Bros. 3 GBA game?

yeah, pay the few extra bucks and get nintendo ds. and yeah, yu-gi-oh is a good one. my bro has that for GBA and loved it.
 
I'd also recommend getting him the DS, he can still play GBA games on it, and you'll be cool for getting him the latest and greatest gameboy.
 
DS = 150 bucks with limited quantities at launch... good luck..
ive had my reserved for 6 months and they are still saying they doubt they are going to have enough on launch day...
