The Road Runner has also left the road quite a few times. There aren't many other ways to startle Wile E. off the edge of a cliff. I'm pretty sure he's even stood still a few times. No road, no running.



Rule 8. Whenever possible, make gravity the coyote's greatest enemy.

I guess he wouldn't have made for a good lead character in Interstellar.
