I can't seem to find a connector that converts a 9 pin mini-din into a 4-pin S-video mini-din. I'm wondering, since, after looking at the connections: http://www.technick.net/public...p_dp=pinconhav_s_video http://www.technick.net/public..._dp=pinconvid_minidin9 The grounds and the color signals appear to be the exact same. The 9-pin just has some extra useless (to me) connections on it. Would it be possible to snap off the key on the 4-pin S-Video cable, connect it up to the 9-pin and get a working connection? I ask, because I want to hook up my PC to my TV, but the 6800GS I have in the second PC that I want to hook up only has the 9-pin mini-din in it and not a "catch all" mini-din like later video cards. Any chance this will work? I may test it out, as I have a bunch of extra s-video cables lying around, but I'll have to wait until later. Would it work? It's my only option, outside of buying a new video card, unfortunately.
