I'm a registered Republican.

My voting history shows that I typically lean towards Republican candidates.

My home # is getting SPAMMED by the Republican party... not a single call from the Dems.

If I had not already made up my mind on who to vote for, this actually would convince me NOT to vote for the Republicans. What is their problem? I don't know what its like in other states, but I'm glad to see the Democrats using more modern approaches in marketing to gain my interest. Heck even my postal mailbox is filling up with crap "vote for me!". :frown:

If they were Democratic messages, some people would argue that they were false flag calls. It's certainly annoying though.

My bro's g/f has been sitting at home calling people across the country for a week now for Obama. Must be nice to be unemployed.

My (extended) family is associated with / active in the Democratic party... phoned by advocates of politicians ever since I can remember. This election... it is mainly the dems wanting campaign money for BO. It was so prevalent for a while that I felt like messing with them and saying something like, "I have to save my money for my girl Hillary in 2012" or something (not a big Hillary fan, but I think it would have been funny). They have tapered off as of late, mainly because this is a solid Repo state and I guess they figured that BO has enough money already.

It will be over soon Saga:)

I've gotten six robocalls today. Five blatantly republican, two of those Mrs. Dole herself, one additional wanting to inform me on the candidates' stances on abortion. I got this number about three years ago, so I assume whomever had it before me are Republicans. They apparently also don't like paying their bills or returning their library books. I've never felt so much disdain for anyone I've never seen or met due to all the grief I've gotten from having their old number.

Republicants and their dreaded robocalls.

That's what happens when your ground game is in the shitter. You rely on antiquated *spam* to deliver your message.

You guys listen to robocall long enough to determine who they're for? Dang I hang up as soon as I realize there isn't a PERSON calling!

Funny. All the ones I get here are for Democrats. I guess they're "in the shitter", too.

I don't get any of those crap calls on my cell phone. I had given up a home phone years ago when I was able to finally get cable Internet. I think the polling numbers don't accurately reflect the entire population because of millions of voters who only have cell phones now.

The ones that you can't hang up on certainly should be (if they're not). And if someone has an emergency and is unable to contact 911 because of such a call, the people behind it should be held legally responsible for whatever the result of the delay is.

I'm not against politically-related calls in general (within reason). But those automated ones that tie up your line are, in my opinion, indefensible.

Actually, I would have to agree with you.

Both parties are in the pooper.

Pennsylvania here. Seven Republican robo calls in these last two days. Not one Obama call this entire election, but robo calls from both sides for local and state races, plus a large number of personal calls for McCain/Palin. My personal record for keeping a hopeful McCain fund raiser on the phone was 35 minutes!
