Have gotten only 4-5 hours every night this week...and having to wake up at 6am to go to work has been no fun :( Finnaly took the initiative last night and checked in at 9 for some quality sleep....wow, that extra 4 hours REALLY makes a difference...i am pumped and ready for my last day of work for the summer  :(

It's gonna be wierd leaving both this job AND the part time job ive worked for 3+ years...but college finally calls and It is time to move on!

Cheers everyone!!

4-5 hours of sleep every night? good practice for college! expect about as much at best.

heh....I'm ready for that...and it's not like I am a total drone when I am tired...I just like the feeling of being well rested rather than running on fumes all the time!

In my experience sleep in multiples of 3 hours is the best. Although I really only have experience with 6, 9, and 12hours.

I believe the sleep cycle is every 2 hours and if you wake up in the middle of that you will feel like sh!t. dont quote me on that though :p

Hmmm..... This perks my interesting, because it does seem that I can wake up after only a few hours and feel fine, othertimes I'll wake up after even longer but feel like sh!t.

I dunno, for me if I sleep more than 6 hours I am so tired and lazy in the morning. When I sleep 6 hours though, I feel great.

yeah, i think the 8-9 hour range is my peak...when i wake up after 7 or 10 hours of sleep...its like i didnt sleep at all...really sucks :( I think it has to do with if you wake up during REM or something (Not...not "Losing my Religion" REM :p)

I only noticed because several times I only slept for 6 hours I felt more rested than when I sleep 8 hours. There was no science to it, just my casual observations.

Woohoo .. I sleep a good 6 to 7 hours every night. Otherwise I find myself not performing at my peak during the day at work, and we can't have that.

Wait, till you get a 9 to 5. Then we will talk about sleep issues. Hehe.

I did the same thing in high school. I worked at a BioChem place in there lab and sterilazation unit over the summers, and I worked part time at a Physcial Therapy clinic. Funny, how I went to college as Computer Science (really should have gone pre-med <stupid, stupid, stupid>). 14-15 hour days (I am adding in commute from home to downtown to the clinic), did not leave much time to hang out and sleep, so I know where you are coming from. I woke up at 4:30 in the morning to get all my stuff done (driving during traffic sucks)... it was h3ll on earth, but at least it paid for part of college.
