Sold Out so it doesn't matter now, but it is low resolution and wide screen, thus virtually unusable.

i agree, i bought one during BF, but the picture looks really bad due to the low resolution.

it also plays mp3s and videos nicely. i'll probably end up selling mine.

What I find strange is you can buy a portable DVD player with the same screen size for roughly the same amount as most digital frames.

FWIW - bought a cheap-o frame like this for mom some time ago. Pictures looked like crap. BUT, after I used some freeware to re-size them to a resolution in-line with the capabilities of the frame, they actually looked pretty good. Not "life-like" or anything, but waaaay better than I expected for a $50 frame.

Yep, most of these digital frames look like crap. Pandigital does have nice 8" and 15" frames with higher resolutions but they are also a lot more expensive, 8" ~$150 and 15" ~$300. I've been thinking of just building one myself out of a 19" lcd and mini itx board.
