UCLA is a pretty sad team too if you watch them play. They get randomly crushed by the worst Pac-10 teams, and then win with 0 defense. Look at how they played USC. That was a real thrashing. At least Cal held Reggie Bush to sub-100 yards last year.

This was just a terrible game today. Cal's o-line crumbled as well as teh defense. I think Ayoob has greatly improved, but who knows.... I don't think either QB was that bad, but rather the offense just died and there was no protection for the QB to throw. Moreover, I don't know what Tedford was doing. Lynch and Forsett are nowhere as explosive as Arrington was two years ago, and still he's pushing a lot of pro offense. I say run spread damnit... just run it spread, and throw more passes..

Can we now dispense with the farce that is Cal and the rest of the Pac-10 besides USC?

They got totally dominated in every facet of the game. They should fall completely out of the top 25 until they prove different.
