Projected population in 2050:
India 1.6 billion (50% population growth)
China 1.4 B (10% growth)
USA 420 M (43% growth)

Looks like India is overtaking China as world's most populous country.

When you consider how much things have changed in the last 50 years, that is a strange thought indeed.
