Actually most of these games are absolute crap so you're not missing out on much.

I am interested in Frequency for the PS2. Anyone played it?

I just got Frequency a few weeks ago, after playing a demo of it. It's so freakin awesome! Does an incredible job of immersing you "in the song." Has tons of replay value, thanks to the remix mode. You can create your own remixes of the songs and save them on your memory card, then play them as songs whenever. The visuals are pretty cool, too; one could say this game was made by people on drugs, for people on drugs. The only flaw with that statement is that you don't have to be on drugs to enjoy the game. It's a great party game, since it's musical, and the person playing the game is compelled to do better, since they're controlling the music. The better they do, the better the music is, the more people appreciate their skill. And when you get tired of playing during the party, just flip on some of your remixes and let the visuals go :)

So yes, I think it's worth it. There's also a sequel coming out at the end of this month, Amplitude. The songs on that didn't look as good to me, though.

Yeah frequency is really good but the latter levels can be hard and too quick. Good beats all around though.
