Whats the point of 9/11 commission? Are they just trying to put the blame on someone? I guess particularly the Bush Administration...? This pisses me off, why are we spending so much money on trying to see if Bush did or did not know about the attacks, or whether he did enough? Its all in the past, what we find out now doesn't really matter right? It happened, theres nothing we can do about it now, so wtf?!?!!?

It is an election year!

Note how the dems hounded her and the Repubs kissed her azz?

Right down the party lines!

And I agree, it is a witch hunt!

Just another fine example of our government WASTING our tax dollars.

For the record, I am a Republican. Wish I could blame it on the Clinton administration but the fact is, there is no way that ANYONE could have known that some insane radicals were going to hijack those planes and fly them into buildings or plow into a field. Even if someone would have stood up and said, "These guys are going to hijack planes and fly them into buildings", no one would have taken them seriously. They would have locked them up in an institution. I mean, how many years had it been since a plane was hijacked in the U.S.? 17? 20?

Again, just a bunch of blowhards trying to make a name for themselves and wasting OUR tax dollars in the process.

Just my humble opinion.

The National Commission on Terrorist Attacks Upon the United States (also known as the 9-11 Commission), an independent, bipartisan commission created by congressional legislation and the signature of President George W. Bush in late 2002, is chartered to prepare a full and complete account of the circumstances surrounding the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks, including preparedness for and the immediate response to the attacks. The Commission is also mandated to provide recommendations designed to guard against future attacks.
BTW, I copied that quote from This thread in Politics and News.
