8x GF4 ti 4200 series

I've been searching and searching for benchmarks and cooling specs for 8x 4200 chips. Trying to compare them. I've found quite a bit of information. However I find myself urning for input from people that actually have them. Of all the 4200 series chips like the gainward goldensample, and the ASUS V9280TD etc. The ones with 3.3ns memory. Which do you guys think is the best? I'm shooting for the $150.00 to $170.00 range. Because I'm going to be buying an AMD 64 computer when they are in full launch. So this piece just needs some minor improvments until then. 🙂

Thanks alot for any input.

i have the ASUS V9280TD. i have nothing but good things to say about it. however, i am mad at new egg for droping the price by about 20 dollars right after i bought it :| it has a good software bundle and so far is a good card.

I got the ti4400 for 149 off of E-bay...Brand new, Gainward Golden Sample, and I have it stably set to 4600 settings. I would advise you give e-bay/www.pricewatch.com a look.

i think you're thinking of the v9280S 😉 it uses the 4600pcb and 3.3ns bga ram. its supposedly a good card 😀 also the albatron turbo 4200p uses the same kinda stuff (pcb and ram)

I'm having a really hard time finding that chip. Everytime I call a place, they say they don't have one. And that it won't be in for a LONG time. I guess I've sorta givin up on getting the L 9500 🙁
