Is there a way to connect my Antec AMG case's front firewire port to the SINXP? Gigabyte seems to have included only a proprietary firewire connector for the addon card and no standard connector :( Is there any way to connect the front firewire port to the mobo? An adapter maybe? Even the daughter firewire card that Gigabyte supplied doesn't have any headers to connect.
Is no one using front firewire connectors in their case with this mobo?

What kind of connector does the firewire port in the case have ? If you can find a match for it at Radio Shack it should be fairly easy to add a connector on to the daughter board with some soldering.

Or if it is a standard firewire connector you could get a firewire cable, plug it in to the daughtercard and run it through the case to the case's firewire port.

Here is some info:
From Evan's Review:
Unlike the 8INXP, the SINXP1394 comes with FireWire support (hence the "1394"). While FireWire support isn?t physically supported by the SINXP1394 itself (via an onboard FireWire controller for example), a FireWire riser card is bundled. This FireWire riser card supports up to three FireWire ports, and is powered by the Realtek RTL8801.

Here is a closeup of the mobo:link
The connector for the riser card is between the first two PCI slots (where it says AGP8X DDR400)

Here is a picture of the daughterboard for firewire: link

Any suggestions are appreciated.
