8RDA3+ sound issues

I have a 8rda3+ that I am trying to install the sound drivers for. I thought they were able to use the soundstorm drivers that are bundled with the Nvidia unified driver pack, but the only way I can get sound to work is with the Epox C-Media drivers. the board is a rev 2.x

any ideas?

The C-Media are the correct drivers. This board doen't have the Sound Storm chip on it but instead uses the cheaper C-Media chipset. It works ok, but it's not as good as the Sound Storm.\
