8RDA3+ cooling problem...

I recently switched from an 8RDA+ to an 8RDA3+ and I am having some serious issues with my CPU temperature. With the 8RDA+ I had my system at 200x11 and it ran at around 43C maximum. Now, without even overclocking my XP 2500+ (166x11) runs at 55C. I am using the same heatsink and fan (Thermalright SLK800A w/ 80mm Fan). The only changes to the system aside from the motherboard is a new power supply and sound card. I was using an Antec SmartBlue 350w and now I am using an Antec TruPower 430w and my sound card is now an Audigy 2 ZS Platinum. Any ideas?

Try reseating the Heatink/Fan and/or reapplying your thermal grease.

Burn-in might drop the temperature a few degrees but not back to what you had before.

Never had either of these EPoX boards so thats the best adivice I can offer.
