8RDA+: which PCI slots share IRQs? (with anything?)

Hey all. I've got a raid controller card on the way. Some PCI slots share w/each other, some share w/other onboard things like NICS/USB/etc.

Any PCI slots that just share w/each other? I currently have no PCI cards installed, so I'd like this one card to be "by itself."

Thank you.

Thanks, Markmaduke.

So you're saying that 2 & 6 share w/each other, right? What about the other slots? Do they all share w/onboard devices?

Would you know where I could get a listing of what slot shares w/what?

Thanks much. :)

2&6 share with the AGP slot. That's it as far as I know. If that's not enough, try 8rda.com. They took a lot from another guy's page that posts to these forums, but I can't find his URL any more.

Look at the chart on page 4-19 of the manual and you've got a chart showing the interrupts. Looks like interrupt A is assigned to slot 3, and interrupt B is assigned to slot 4, while C and D are shared.

Yeah, plus I think it's the advanced ACPI or something like that - the highest IRQ in use in my system is 22. :D
