8RDA+ unlocking question

Does the 8RDA+ only unlock the new Tbred's out, or does it unlock older processor's like the 1800+ too?

The Nforce2 MB's unlock the newer Tbred rev. B chips only. If the older 1800+ chip you are referring to is the Palamino core, then you will have to manually unlock it.

I agree with BlueWeasel. Stay away from the Palamino core if you are looking for multiplier adjustments.

Otherwise, buy some really nice ram and jack up the front side bus!:)

Ahh...how I wish I could stand by my words! I recently got an Epox 8RDA board and Palamino 2000+ chip from a local computer shop. The prices were good, but no Tbred rev. B. :(

That's what I get from not ordering from Newegg. :)

I have a tbred A/nforce 2 and it's definitely unlocked.
