8RDA+ HDD LED Stay on

Just realized my 8RDA+ HDD LED keep stay on, never turn on.

Also found recently the motherboard doesn't go to Energy Save Mode if I don't used it for while, and
I checked the BIOS, everthing is set correctly.

Anyone had same problem before ? Know why ?

I don't know about the HD LED. There does not seem to be any way that it could be on constantly unless the HD is constantly accessed. I would check that the light is on the right mobo pins. Or maybe you have a program constantly running in the background, such as a virus scanner.

Power saving modes are controlled within Windows. I believe Windows over-rides what is set in the BIOS, although I have never attempted to see if it would work the other way and the BIOS would over-ride Windows settings. There is a Power Options applet in Control Panel to set what you prefer.

I double checked HDD wire on the case, it is connected correctly.
