My 8RDA+ died and I REALLY REALL do not want to reload my OS. Can someone please tell me can I get away with the by getting the 8RDA3+? Or is there another board I can use to do this? Or.... should I try and find an 8RDA+ somewhere???

Thanks.

Find another board with the nforce2 chipset, and windows should reload the drivers within 2 or 3 reboots. As long as the chipset is the same, you shouldn't have to do a fresh install. I would request an rma from epox to replace your board. It should have a 3 year warranty. In the meantime, find a cheap replacement. I've seen some nforce2 boards on pricewatch for less than $50, or newegg has refurbs cheap.

I can't RMA the thing! I have "modded" it with a southbridge heatsink and a new northbridge fan. That voided my warranty. I will however try to replace the capaciters, and if it works I will make it into a server or something.

Mofunk, what ended up happening with this thing?
Mine just died, took out a nice piece of Twinmos ram with it too.
I just get "C1" with no beeps or any post at all. :(
