Has anyone figured out how to get 2-2-2 timings on the 8KTA3? I can only get 3-3-3 and 2-3-3 timings on mine (Crucial PC133 CAS-2)

No, I have the same board and the same question. Please post the answer if you find it elsewhere. I think Epox has a forum on their site, you might try there.

So does SiSoft Sandra report this information? I'll have to check mine and see what my infineon is being reported as.

Sandra typically reports it under mainboard info, CPU/BIOS info, and/or system info (I think it's the first)

I got my setup running at 145MHz FSB, the CPU's limit seems to be about 1050 and the 5-6.5x multipliers have been remapped, limiting me to 145 (stable at 7x145 and 7.5x133, windows stops booting at 7x150 and no POST at 6.5x133) and I know my RAM can push faster than what it is (even though it's not bad by any means)

Unfortunately, Epox may have done this for stability purposes, but there is no way to enable a 2-2-2 setting in the BIOS. Epox only allows 2-3-3 or 3-3-3 settings- Blah! I believe a new BIOS may come out to solve this, but I'm not to sure. As for me, I haven't been to concerned since the board has been very good to me. You may want to contact Epox tech support at www.epox.com, they will respond within 48 hours. They did for me. :D

The multiplier remapping thing kinda caught me too. I was running for a while at 6x150MHz which was pefectly stable and fast, plus I could lower my CPU voltage a bit which kept things very cool. This 2-3-3 timming probably explains why it ran so stable, and I thought it was just my Compuwiz1 infineon. I'm still gonna check the system info in Sandra.
I second the BLAAHH.

I love my 8KTA3, but this is a weak point for the board. It is strange, though--one of the reasons EPoX is able to make such a great enthusiast board is because they do not have to limit their designs for OEM's and newbies. Thus, it seems logical that EPoX would allow unrestricted control over memory timings, possible instability be damned! I think that those who are sophisticated enough to be dealing with memory timings also know enough to check memory timings as a possible source of instability, should it arise.

I hope that EPoX will provide a BIOS to rememdy this, even if in the form of an alternative enthusiast BIOS.
