8kta3 problem

i thought 8kta3 has 4 IDE port but there was only 2 and the other 2 say optional how do i make it 4 IDE port?

If I understand your question correctly, Your confusing the KTA3 and KTA3+ raid so to make it raid buy a controller card. However, if your refering to it's capability to support 4 IDE devices both channels are on by default on the KTA3.
