Ordered 2 of these boards and have the same problems with no post. On one of them I got it to post but after that..... After changing the BIOS sttings I could not restart it. All the rest of the computer parts are basic.

Could be PSU problem your Epox boards like a very good 300w or above,

<< Out of the box and onto the test bench...the board doesn't boot. Not a promising first sign, I set about trying to work out the problem. What I discovered was that in some situations, the diagnostic LEDs don't always...diagnose. You see, they will tell you if your ram is iffy, or your video won't initialise, but they won't tell you if there is something fundamentally wrong with the system - what's become known as the 'FF' problem, so called because the LEDs display FF without cycling through their boot-up diagnostics.

In my case, the problem was power. You see, this board has a '3-phase' power socket. Now I can't tell you exactly what that means technically, but I can tell you that it means you'll need an extra-fat PSU to power it. My Aopen 300W wouldn't do it, neither would my QuietPC 300W. Neither would my friend's Macron 400W.

After consulting with Epox Tech, I'm told that what you need is a PSU that will give you a large amount of 'combined power' - that is, power to the RAM, graphics and CPU (which the PSUs I'd tested don't). Replacing my GeForce 3 with a TNT2 solved the problem - less combined power was needed by my system. However, I wasn't about to test this board with a TNT2, so I gave a shout to my best buds over at Chillblast and they hooked me up with a 431 Enermax by courier. This seems to me to be the PSU daddy, and has powered my board without any problems so far.

It is a 400 watt antec PSU, Crucial DDR, clear CMOS maybe like 100+ times.... Took memory out, video card out, everything out... and put JCLick 1 or whatever to clear CMOS.. took everything out and put it back again and again... anyway... I think Epox has some problems..... I know people who got it all working once. Like my Epox 8k7a+ just once.. I boot it and put the settings of my 1.4 ghz. 11.5 x 133.... 1533 works till this day 24/7 not a single reboot. Super Fast.. but I had tried 4 8KHA+, 2 KHALs.... none zippo.,,, I will call antec... now

I think he said he didn't have the problem - try a new power supply.

Yep memory or PS, that's wy a live Epox (in general), try to erase BIOS, some times altering settings cause not booting anymore. GOOD LUCK, and next time buy ASUS.
