8KHA+: STR and shut down problem

I am very satisfied with the 8KHA+, definitely faster and more bandwidth than my previous AMD 760 board, I am actually at 1000 FPU without tweaking. Also very stable. Just a little problem, which seems to be quite common, I saw some similar posts already:

a) STR does not work, the BIOS settings simply does not work.
The OS does not recognize the PC as STR capable system.

b) the system is not shutting down (after the OS is down, the power is not shut off)

c) sometimes the system does not reboot

These probs are of course related to the ACPI funtion. It's in Win ME and W2K, I even re-inestalled both OS. I have seen similar posts in the MSI forums about the their new KT266A board. It this chipset related? Any work around?

thanx 🙂
