I just got my 8kha+ back, and with only the Radeon and ram intsalled, I get a constant "FF" code on booting.
It does "00" for a split second before staying @ FF, with the red LED on the mobo near the Ram constantly on.

The computer powers on fine, all the HD's spin up and all the fans start spinning. Just no video :(

The Ram, CPU and Radeon were fine before I dismantled the system and sent out the mobo to be RMA'ed, but I guess they're all suspects now, and I don't have any extra DDR to test with :(

Suggestions?

FF , means everything is workin right.... But you get no vid.. make sure that your fsb jumpers are correct.

On my previous 8kha+ it'd go through a scan of a bunch of different thing in the LED's and then it'd settle on "FF", whereas this one only goes straight to "FF" with nothing else.
I'll have to rip out my v3 3.5k out of my pops machine and see if my Radeon's the problem.

My Tbird 1.4 is a 266fsb CPU, but neither FSB setting works.

Turns out my Tbird 1.4 was dead.... must have died of static becuase I never smelt a burning smell, the heatsink never got warm and there are no burn marks. The CPU is like mint.

Oh well, back to my old tbird 800 @ 1gig :(
