Hy!
I just bought a new epox 8KDA3+ mobo plus A64 3000+ and have encountered the folowing problem. Using the original bios date 21/04/2004 I am able to enable cool n' quet within bios options but I noticed while using Amd Dashboard that in idle the voltages won't come down. So I can't manage to get it to work like it should.
When I install the latest bios(date 16/07/2004) using Magic flash I noticed that inside power management option the cool n' quiet option simply dissapeird. It reapiers only if I use a single stick of ram. Also on some ocasions the cpu boot up with a vcore betwin 1.3 and 1.45 and stays this way even under heavy load. Also while using the new bios I noticed that amd powernow dashboard stopt worcking and it gives an error mesage saying that it can't find a valid PSS or PST and says that I should install the program on a valid PSS or PST system.
Please help me because I simply don't know how to get cool n' quit to work.
If it's any help my mobo revision in 0.3( that what it says on the bottom left corner of the mobo)
