To make a bootable disk...follow these instructions.
1. Put a blank floppy in you floppy drive
2. Open up My Computer and right click on the A: drive icon and choose "Format"
3. When the format windows opens, check the box that says "Copy System Files Only"
4. Format the disk and it's now a bootable floppy.
Now unzip all the files that came with the bios onto the floppy. Print out the "Readme" file so you will have the instructions handy. Make sure you have all the files unzipped onto the floppy and reboot with the floppy. It should boot and bring you to a "A:" prompt. Follow the instructions that came with the bios file from there. You can also type the following to achieve the same thing...
Awdflash 8K7A1711.bin /cc /cd /cp
Answer yes to the prompts and let it finish. When it is finished (all blocks are white) and it gives you two options to exit or reset..choose exit and turn the PC off. Reboot, enter the bios and load the optimal defaults. That's it.
