8K7A + Crucial RAM = ?????

I just cancelled my order for my Epox 8K7A mobo and replaced it with the K7S5A mobo. I'm sitting here looking at crucials website for RAM and i intend to order one 512mb stick for now - but is this shiat DDR?

http://www.crucial.com/store/listparts.asp?model=K7S5A&x=17&y=14

I'm just a little confused cause when i originally ordered RAM for the 8K7A it said right on crucials site that it was specifically DDR RAM. Could someone shed some light on this for me?

On that motherboard, you can use PC133 or DDR RAM. If you want the 512MB stick, you have to go PC133 as Crucial isn't selling 512MB DDR sticks yet. The DDR options are on the page you linked but further down.

If you want your full performance out of your K7S5A, then get the DDR RAM. Unfortunately the DDR RAM isn't readily available in stick bigger than 256 MB unless you want to pay an arm and a leg. My advice would be to get 2X256 MB sticks of Crucial DDR. That should set you up great.
