Here is the new BIOS (F7A). According to the Bios Page it "For Northwood (Pentium 4 CPU) changed to proper Vcore settings."

I'm @ work now & can't test, but I'll update tonight.

Very good news, now how long will we have to wait? I am tempted to wire wrap my p4 if the new bios is not here by the time my Sunflower is as will already be remoinvg and re Artic Aluminaing my proc anyways.

According to The Register this Register article the problem is fixed with the f7 bios. Unfortunately I have yet to find it on any of Giga-bytes sites, still listing f6 as the latest. If anyone finds the f7 bios post results please.

The link is on the Taiwan web page now, its broke though and not working... The same thing happened when they released the F6 bios. Took a few hours before they finally got the link working...

Looks like we should have F7 sometime today though...
