Hi everyone,
I upgraded my BIOS through a Gigabyte windows BIOS Flash utility. I tried rebooting after that but it just wouldn't. So I cleared the CMOS thinking it might help and nothing.
Everything is being powered up, the PSU fans are spinning and so are the fans on the motherboard, the graphics card and the system fans. The lights are also lighting up on the DVD/CD ROMs...everything seems to be ok except for the fact that it doesn't POST 🙁 I even tried using some different RAM and in different slots, because I know from experience MSI motherboards have a stupid issue with RAM after BIOS upgrade.
Anyways.... I'm open to suggestions as I have no idea what could be wrong.
The motherboard has Dual BIOS so if the BIOS got corrupted it would've used the back-up one.
PC specs:
- Gigabyte 8I945P Pro
- P4 D320 (3GHz dual core)
- Sapphire X850XT
- Antec 1080AMG (True 430W)
