8GB Ram disk for scratch target

Looks cool, but does it have a battery backup? looks like it just has external power, so it would dump it's data during a short power outage, where the gigabyte one would be able to retain it for a bit with the battery.

Meh, RAMdrives are stupid for most of the things that people want to use them for (like a "very fast pagefile"). As a drive for loading one's OS and programs, it would provide considerable benefit, except that it's too small and can lose data all too easily. I'm waiting for "affordable" SSDs, but those could take a while to become available. 🙁
