so im planning to get the nvidia 8800 and thermaltake 700 watt psu
should i need to anything else that you guys can think of or some caution i should take

amd opteron 165 at stock 1.8 ghz
ocz gold ram 2 (2x512)

thermaltake atx full tower

Only thing I can think of is that you might want to double your system RAM. If you have the option available, I would suggest selling your existing sticks and getting a 2 x 1GB kit instead of trying to run 4 x 512MB. There's just less hassle to get it working properly.

i read that it was better to run 4 sticks than 2 so running 4 gigs is what u recommend?

o i c ur saying 2 gigs with 2 stiks as said i dont rememeber why but definitely read that 4 stiks was better
