880G or 760G + 6450?

Hello,

What would be better a 880G motherboard with on-board graphics, or 760G motherboard + 6450 512MB dedicated video card?
 
Better for what?

Gaming-wise, the 6450 is much more powerful, but it's pretty low-end for anything other than some light gaming.

I'm not sure which might be preferable for HTPC duty, but the HD4250 IGP on the 880G chipset was pretty good for that purpose.
 
the 760G and 6450 will be much better.

the 880G IGP is basically the same as the 760G. the only real difference is the 880G is clocked at 525 mhz vs 500mhz and supports HD decoding (which won't help at all for 3d games).

both are 30 shaders. the 6450 has 160 shaders and dedicated memory. it will be a LOT faster.
