8800GTX SLI question for PSU

To my understanding you need 2 PCI-E connector for one of these cards? So that would mean you need a Quad-SLI, 4 PCI-E rails, PSU to have 8800GTX SLI up and running? I'm just confused because I see people running 8800GTX in a SLI setup using the PCP 750, the orange PSU, and it only has 2 PCI-E.

Oh yeah I forgot about those because I haven't been using those since all these PSU emphasis on 6 pin nowadays. Is just that it gets quite messy with so many 4 molexes hanging around.

While we are at it what are some reliable PSU that will run 8800GTX SLI without much trouble? I've seen the authorize list and it has quite many. I have sort it down to Enermax Galaxy, PCP 750, Tagan 1100W, Silverstone 850W.
