8800GTX question....

This my be a stupid question, but why is there such a big price difference in the 8800GTX video cards. PNY has theirs for 550 on newegg and then other cards are around 600. I don't have the money at the time, but I am hoping to upgraded sometime down the road. Does anyone have any suggests on what brand to go with?
 
Some are clocked to slightly higher speeds, and the brand names with the big marketing power will attract people on their name and logo alone so they can charge a little more.
 
EVGA is the best bet not so much because they offer a lifetime warranty, but because overclocking & even swapping out the HS/fan won't void the warranty.
