I create videos & slide shows for my son's school using Roxio Video Wave 9.
I recently upgraded my video card from a XFX8600GT 256MEG to an MSI 8800GTS 512MEG card. I have downloaded and install the latest video drivers.
The problem I'm having is with video imported from my camcorder as AVI DV Video. When I try to play it in Video Wave, the program now crashes. If I import the same video as MPEG, it works fine. The program also has a feature that allows it to decide whether to use hardware rendering or software rendering. With this new card, it now goes to software rendering, which does not allow me to use 3d transitions.
Any suggestions?
Thanks.
