Just got a new 8800GTS and downloaded and installed the newest Nvidia drivers, but now the drivers think that the highest resolution my Dell UltraSharp 2407WFP supports is 1280x1024 at 60 hertz.
Unless I'm missing something the native resolution of this monitor is 1920x1200 at 60 hertz.
But the drivers will not let me set the resolution past 1280x1024. Am I missing something? A setting on the monitor, or is there drivers out there for the 2407WFP monitor I need to install?

Any ideas?

All thanks for any help!

Check your Device Manager info and see what the monitor is installed as (Default or Plug and Play or Dell 2407 blah blah.) If it shows default then that means the VESA info is not being communicated to your computer correctly.

Simply find the .inf file for your monitor on the disc that came with your monitor or go here to download the latest .inf file. All you have to do to install the .inf file is right click and choose install.
