I have an 8800GTS (640MB) and it keeps crashing when attempting to play games. Tried to play Batman: AA and it crashed. It used to play TF2 just fine, but now that crashes too. I have an OCZ 600W power supply. Any thoughts?

Could be getting too hot.

What does it do when it crashes? Crash to desktop? Blue screen? Computer restarts? Shuts down?

Check your temps. If they're fine (<90C on the core, etc.), then the solder on the card is probably going. NVIDIA's 8800 series are notorious for crap quality control and the solder gives out after a few years. Baking it in an oven can revive it for a little bit longer: http://hardforum.com/showthread.php?t=1421792 (don't bake it in an oven you cook in).

You don't state symptoms of death or impending death, so I suspect the fan is dying, or the years of accumulated gunk is slowing down the fan or preventing it from ramping up when needed.

And I'm sure you're not using some utility that sets fan speed to a specific percentage...

Check your temps. If they're ok bake the card and see if it fixes the issue.

Check your temperatures. My 8800GTS started crashing when the fan broke.

I checked the temps and turns my processor may be the culprit here. Over 60 degree Celsius!

That's not a problem usually, esp. if talking about Intel CPUs.

You may want to run a 10-12 hours of Prime95, LinX or OCCT to check for CPU stability if you think the processor is at fault.
